EntropySoft's platform is built on a catalog of connectors and a Content Federation Server containing different services and several access points using different technologies. Additionally, EntropySoft provides two clients: Content ETL Web and Content ETL Studio.
| The bi-directional connectors are used to access all the enterprise content repositories. They support the main features of the underlying applications and enable them in EntropySoft Content Federation Server or any third-party application. The connectors are enablers for the read, write, permissions, versioning and metadata features of the source applications. The connectors are non-intrusive; they do not necessarily need to be installed on the application server. They can also be used as remote connectors. All EntropySoft connectors work with a common API. This API is simple and intuitive, and can be easily implemented in your solution. The API is fully documented to facilitate the learning curve of EntropySoft technology. |
A content hub, a federated search and advanced security management are included among the main features implemented by the server. The content hub is used to manage and share the connectors for all enterprise applications. The federated search relies on the existing native index of all the connected applications. The security management service manages the security of content accesses to all repositories, providing different levels of security management.
The system access points are server components that are made available for our partners so as to speed up content integration in business applications. The system can be accessed using various technologies: our partners can use our Flex API to build a RIA (Rich Internet Application) or a RDA (Rich Desktop Application) that works with all sources, a.NET or Java API. Moreover, web services are available to access all the features of underlying applications and cross-system features offered by the server.

Two clients are using the Java API: Content ETL Studio and Content ETL Web. Both are part of our Content ETL solution. Content ETL Studio helps to graphically design content transfers between all extended enterprise applications. Content ETL Web is designed to manage and monitor the content transfers. |
